Everybody's killin elk!

My best friend's son drew a Owens cow tag and bagged a big cow yesterday and my next door neighbor took a bull in CO. today! We're all going out riding for the first trip of the season next weekend.........something tells me that we'll be eating plenty of elk steaks!
I'm a bird hunter.....might try yotes this year and I think I just might put in for that Owen's tag next year! Sounds like fun, followed by a bunch of work!

You guys are KILLING me! I couldn't apply this year and will have to wait for the Montana drawing next year. Life isn't fair and you guys aren't making it any better for me. Elk steaks.....UMMM, UMMM!
