I've been experimenting with previous photos using the image desaturation

Very cool H&W, I'm not usually a big fan of B&W's with color, but I like this one. How did you do it?

Hey Clutch~ Thanks for the comment.... I'd love to show a tutorial on this but I can't seem to get my "print page" to work. I will try and explain it.
1) after opening the image in photo shop I grab the lasso tool and carefully trace around the portion of the image that I want to leave in color.
2) I then click on the "select" in the task bar at the top and choose "Inverse".
3) Then click the image tab on task bar and select adjustments~then from the drop down select desaturate.
4) now move the lasso tool within the dotted lines and click and the lines go away.
5) now I open the clone stamp tool and click the view tab on the task bar and zoom in a few times to magnify the areas that still have color around the outlines and then alt/click on the area of desaturation that I want to clone. I move all around the edges until I rid the undesired colors.
6) go back to the view tab and zoom out to the original size

A very nice tool to make the "perfect selection" the first time, is the Quick Mask. It is very effective. Once the selection of you is perfect, inverse, then desaturate.
