From Homeland To Hunting

Extreme Shock Offers Non-Lead Hunting Bullets.

9/13/07

Clintwood, Virginia - Extreme Shock has been in co-development with Special Operations Groups and Law Enforcement Officials worldwide for more than 10 years to create non-lead, powered metal bullets for unique applications. They took that knowledge and experience and have developed a compressed metal core, copper jacketed big game hunting bullet. The core is made of a proprietary blend of Tungsten-NyTriliumT. The end result for the hunter is a very accurate bullet that creates a devastating wound cavity.

Bullets are available in .223 calibers 62, 55, 75 grains and .30 calibers in 168 grain. Loaded ammunition is available in .223, .308, .30-06, and 300 Win Mag. Advanced field testing studies are occurring right now. For testing and evaluation of the Extreme Shock USA line of ammunition, feel free to contact us. Please note below the terminal performance demonstrated from the 168 grain .308 BTHP. The bullet penetrated nearly three inches before the jacket and tungsten core started reacting to create a devastating wound cavity.

For more information about the hunting ammunition or to inquire about Extreme Shock's full line of defense ammunition, please write Extreme Shock USA, Rt. 2 Box 304-N Clintwood, Virginia 24228 or by calling 877-337-6772. Oneshot,

I'm in the same boat as you are, I bought a 30-30 for my boy and now the lead ban is coming. I have been doing some homework though, Barnes is making flat nosed bullets now for 30-30 and 45/70. Cor bon loads them, the only report I could find said the Cor Bon 30-30's were more accurate than the Hornaday leverevolutions. That was out of the new Marlin that was built for the Hornadays. I hope they work right, they aren't cheap. Midway had them.

Good luck, post your results if you happen to to try any lead free bullets in 30-30.

I'm not happy about the lead ban because I built my 45/70 guide gun for the Leverevolution rounds. I had a brush gun with power that could reach out to 200 yards. I mounted and sighted in the ghost ring sights and the scout scope, now I have to start over sighting in and I won't have as much range as I did before. Same for my boys' 30-30, more cost...less range. Makes me think I wasted alot of money on leverguns.
