FHL Bull Elk Tag

I have a local (Petaluma) feed customer, asking me about the Fort Hunter Liggett Rifle Bull Elk Hunt, in Dec. Now I know it is a pretty straight forward hunt in that you are assigned an area, but he was looking for more information. Particularly what to expect in terms of elk movement, and size.

Wish it was me. I've never been that lucky but I live nearby and have hunted it alot for deer, pig, birds. And I usually see elk much to my delight. The FHL hunt is a full orientation deal, with DFG and Range Control. Just remember, it's a military base . DON'T go into closed areas. There are some monsters in there. good luck

A guy I know(local guy) drew that hunt, too. No points, has never hunted elk, and has no idea how coveted those elk tags are. Makes me want to throw up
