Just talked to lady doing hunting permits at FHL, she said she is doing all conformations by email. So if you had checked that box on your application, she said you should get email by Friday afternoon.

I sent mine in this Monday by Express Mail and she has it in the pile. She also stated that answering the phone keeps her from getting the paper work done.....Ouch!

So is yours in the pill because you called her or did she already have it? I don't want to be a pest but I have not received a confirmation and have left phone messages and e-mails with no responce. O'well I guess I will know more on Saturday morning when I get there.

I have to ask the question....

Varmits and cyotes and things of that nature. Is there a special pass from FHL or tag that you need? I have never hunted anything I did not intend to eat but I guess in the afternoon when the hogs are no where to be seen it may not be a bad idea to look for something else that is moving.

The drift I got, was mine was noticed because it was in a big Red White and Blue Express Mail envelope. These ladies are only in the office certain days, and I must have just caught her at right time by phone. It could be a matter of attitude of these employees. They seem somewhat pleasant on the phone, but I detect some kind of negative vibe. Perhaps I should send a big box of Ms. Fields cookies or something to the FHL Hunting and Fishing Program Staff office from thankful hog hunters. But, wondering if their security measures might can it..

As for Coyote, the permit allows hunting anything in season, in accordance with F&G law. Coyote just love little piglets to eat...............

Everyone needs to be as thankful and appreciative of the crew working in the hunting and fishing program shack, as they can. A civil friendly tone will go a long way in getting things done smoothly. And we all need to be pro-active and respetful to keeping our priviledges alive and well at FHL. Without these civilian people to help us, we'd be screwed and a little patience seems to go a long way...

When you say ground hog, do you mean California Ground Squirrel? I don't see GS mentioned in FHL pdf. but tree squirrel is???

Hmmm, how many in that office, I'm thinking about a case of Mrs. Fields, very military looking:

Just received my confirmation.

According to the nice and very busy lady at the game shack, many TA's should be open this weekend.

Good hunting !!
