FHL Permits

If you buy a yearly permit, it says the voucher they mail you will be taken at the check in window. Do they mail you another one by mail for the next time you go or give you a card to keep for the year. I just called and they have a lot open this weekend. 11,14,17,18,19,23,24,26,27,28,29,and 30. Last time I was there only three were open. Thanks in advance. Cda55

The yearly pass is actually a sticker that they put on the back of your hunting license. Did you send for it yet? They only accept applications through the mail. The yearly pass expires June 30th, the same time as hunting licenses. Good luck...training area 24 is where most of the hogs are pulled out of!

No I haven't. I'll wait till July. If I go before I'll buy the 2 day. Thanks for the info.

No problem! but if you do plan on going, you MUST submit everything through the mail...they dont allow you to buy either the two day or the yearly passes at the window. They say to allow three weeks for the passes to be returned. If you have about a week lead time, just attach a note asking them to hold your permit at the window, and they usually will. I would reccommend you call the hotline, which has a recorded message, and then leave a message after the recording and tell them you are doing this. The lady that handles all this (cant remember her name), is usually very accomondating. Good luck and have fun!
