I have been hunting the LPNF almost every weekend the past couple of months for my first
and haven't seen any pigs. Some really nice country and difficult hikes. I was looking to try something new and thought I would give FHL a try. I was browsing through some recent posts started by Mel_Carter and Wild1 and was wondering if anyone made it up there or to Camp Roberts and if so, had any luck?
Like in Mel's thread it might be too close for those going to the Ham Slam but for those who aren't maybe this would work. Let me know if anyone is interested. I have never met any of you JHO members but looking foward to it if something can work. Anybody interested?? I'll be driving North from UCSB.
I am going to send in my ap today and looking to go soon after I get a response. For those that know, it looks like if yoiu buy an annual pass it expires with your hunting license, is that correct? If that's the case I will go with the weekend option.
