FHL Question

I know its best to check in on Fridays but I work until 0200 every Fri. Do you think its still worth it to drive down on Sat and take whats left. That only gives me a day and a half to hunt. I rifle and bow hunt so I guess it might give me more options. Ive never been there, hunting anyway. Just dont want to spend a 150.00 in gas then get turned away cause all the areas are full by noon on Saturdays. Anybody have this happen to them ? Thanks in advance.

This is the way of it on a military base, they can close for no reason at anytime.
IMHO, if you have tags then by all means go, it can't hurt as there are always plenty of open TAs. You may not get the ones you want but it is first come first served...
