Well so much for saterdays hunt. I got snowed out, i could not get to FHL, I hit Preast Valley and the snow was falling hard i kept going thinking once i droped into the valley that 101 goes through it would clear up, nope, when i started up Jolone Rd it was falling even harder, before I got to the top of the grade where it flatens out (where 10/13 & 7 border Jolone Rd) the snow got so thick on the road i started sliping and sliding and spinning my tires just trying to get up the grade. So i thought better of it, turned around and will live to hunt another day.
Got home to a picture ive never seen before, all the hills around Colinga are covered with snow. Now it has snowed here before but not like this. It looks like your driving into Reno just after a bad storm. Kinda looks cool.
Going to try it again Sunday I have no doubt i will make it, the storm has passed. Will give an up date when I get back.
