FHL website hasnt updated for this weekend

As far as I know there are training courses that start on Sunday the 11th. That is for the Seabees. I can't tell you if the Army is training up there or not. I would expect limited training areas for the remainder of the year. There are classes up there pretty much every other week until January.

I know for a fact that training area 3 which is archery only is going to be closed as I will be up there training. I cant say for sure what else is going to be closed. I know the Army engineers stole the reservoir off of bear trap loop to do some training. I'm sure that will also be closed and i dont know what the TA # is for that area.

yeah thats for sure. i would say try camp roberts but that ones going to full with a reserve battalion training there as well. that place is going to be full of military for the next 2-3 weeks.

Camp Roberts won't be open for general hunting till the end of August.

well i am about to take off to camp roberts as we speak and i just checked the phone line and they shot me down again. july 24 (the day my exercise is over) is when hunting for big game opens up for the weekend. well it looks like i packed my bow for no reason. FML! at least ill get a good scouting trip out of this

They will be open for the Junior hunt that weekend of July.
