Got my first pig in Tejon in early May. Yes, I know it has been sitting a long time in the freezer but I guess I have been very busy. Made carnitas out of the whole thing today. It was totally delicious. The best I ever had. Am bringing it to work tomorrow to share with my co-workers except the anti-hunters. Now I just need to start working on the deer I got in Sept. and the antelope I got in Oct.

I don't know about the speed goat. I've heard they're not too good for eating.

Who told you that? Antelope are far tastier than any big game animal you can get in CA, except for perhaps Elk.
Ghost, you will enjoy that 'speed goat'. Trust me on that one.
