Finished Bobcat Skull

Alright, here's one of the two skulls from bobcats shot this past season. I bought some beetles and stuck the skulls in them as soon as the taxi skinned them out. This skull is from the cat that my buddy Kevin shot. Mines still in the bleaching/whitening process, but pics to come of that one as it should be done soon. Enjoy!

Looks very good. It would make a kick-azz coffee table piece if it was bronzed.

That looks SUPER. How big was the cat? And just how long does it take for the beetles to do their work?

Cat was about 23lbs. And as for the beetles, I put the skulls in on a monday and pulled them out the following Saturday. The more beetles, the quicker it is, but I had two bobcats and a deer in there so they had plenty to eat. Then it took another 5 days of bleaching and degreasing to get to this point. All in all, it turned out well.
