A friend with an irritated tendon in his leg reminded me of some Physical Therapy treatment I learned as a patient from Peter & Vickie Brandt in Redlands.Fill 7 oz paper cups leaving enough space for expansion & freeze them then when you have an irritated tendon or really sore knee.elbow, ankle, etc, pull one out of the freezer ,peel off some of the cup top & rub your sore area,it will get cold then burn but keep it up until it gets numb.It helps curtail the pain and take out the inflamation so you can function.

In a quart ziplock bag, mix 1 cup water and 1 cup Isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol), stick it in the freezer and it will get really slushy. Great for applying to ouchies.
