First digital camera

Well I finally got a digital can, I know its not the best but can you take decent pics with a 2 megapixel, 3x optical zoom cam??. My wife was in a rush & it was here when I got home, just wondering if she got a decent 1st cam? We will use it for ebay & hopefully hunting trips, nothing too serious. Thanks for the input in advance.

You can take absolutely great pics with a 2 MP.

I have taken an awful lot that I really love.

You will not be able to do any major printing with a 2mp cam, but on screen they will be great as long as you learn and practice the basics of photgraphy.

The 3X zoom is fine until you start wanting to reach out and touch.

I have the same camera nikon coolpics 2000 or something like that. It takes great photos and has a superb macro focus feature for those up close details that ebay buyers want to see. I bought it so that I could sell on the ole ebay and its a great camera actually exceeded my expectations.
