Hey all,
Found the first fresh elk set for the year, a decent 6 pt. Hopefully I'll find a few more next weekend as theres still a few bulls packing.

As they lay (both sheds in pic, can only see 1 pt of 2nd shed behind bush):

And here is why I orignally went in the hills for today; to take pics of the sage grouse "dancing"

Those are my 2 favorite pics i took of them this morning.

great find!!! I am yet to find any elk sheds this year it seem like I just keep finding those deer sheds. Those are awesome pictures of the grouse. I saw 2 yesterday myslef but they were not doing any of that dancing. Keep up the good work.

Great sheds and awesome pics of the Sage grouse!

What camera do you use? How close were you to the birds?

Keep it up buddy!

BC mulies,
I find a ton of elk sheds a year, we found 4 this afternoon on a short hike. I'm having tough luck finding fresh muley sheds.

Predator,
Those pics were taken with a Panasonic Lumix Digital camera. I was probably about 5-10 yards from the sage grouse strutting. I crawled through the brush and had camo on so they wouldn't see me.
