First Hog

Been hunting birds my whole life and decided to try hog hunting. I used my grandpas 30:06 and was very happy with the results. Got a sow and have a bunch of meet in my freezer now.

I'm up in San Luis Obispo County. There are public lands/military places to hunt for hog, but I opted for a guided hunt on private land. I am so hooked that I already booked another hunt and am taking my son this time.

Oh, and the ribs were fantastic!

Put a shoulder in the insta pot and make pulled pork bbq sandwiches. Mmm mmm mmmm the wife will be on board for future hunts soon after she eats it. It is a win win
