First time success!

My brother-in-law’s brothers got this one on their first-ever gator hunt in Central Florida. It measured a little over 12 ½ feet. It took 3 shots with the “bang-stick" Not bad for their first time. One of these days I’m going to make it back for some of this fun. Living in Cali for so long had made the red start to fade from my neck!

A country boy CAN survive!:rock on:

What a monster! That will get your heart rate up in a hurry.

About the Red Neck part, if you have a tree stand set up in your front yard, you might be a Red Neck.

Chicken....of course! :laffin-yellow:

Nice mild white meat that pretty much takes on the flavor of whatever spices or batter it is cooked in.

That probably goes for all reptile meat; rattlesnake is kinda bony, but it is also a mild, white meat. I imagine you have enough for a BBQ now! I will see about getting into that, since I like to run the swamps. You can probably get some python meat, while you're there, right? Stuffed with a wild boar, it would be an interesting centerpiece at a redneck wedding. BTW, if your porch collapses, and it kills 47 dogs, you might be a redneck.
Congrats!
