First timers on public land

Gonna take a couple of first timers(adults) out for their first hunting g trip. they both really want to hint pigs. I dobt have a vast wealth of knowledge on where to take them. Any tips for public land. Looking to spend 2-3 days out there camping. Thanks in advance

If you don't know the area well, I'd say cover ground. With the weather we have had, and will continue to get, there presence will be obvious, at least where they have been will be obvious. Then concentrate on large areas of use. Remind them to keep in mind that anything they shoot, they have a legal obligation of taking all edible meat, so whatever is shot will need to be hauled out (I don't think I have ever taken a pig close to the truck). It should be an enjoyable trip, until someone pulls the trigger, then it's nothing but work.
