It is a good thing that the success of a fishing season is not gauged by the number of state fishing records that are broken.After a string of exciting years with several records snapped, including some species multiple times, Utah has experienced somewhat of a dearth of record fish.According to the Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) the only record submitted thus far in 2010 is in the spearfishing category.
