This fishing report has been compiled from a variety of sources as close as possible to the date of publication. Weather fronts, water temperature, angler activity and other factors can all affect fishing.

San Juan River (Quality Waters)

The river was flowing at about 333 cubic feet per second late Wednesday.

Fishing has been fair to good with red annelids, WD40s and RS2s. Some big fish have been caught on orange egg patterns as well.

San Juan River (Regular Section)

The regular section was stocked by the Department of Game and Fish with more than 1,500 10-inch rainbow trout Dec. 3.

Anglers are catching browns and rainbows night crawlers and salmon eggs.

Navajo Lake

Anglers trolling shallow-running and floating crankbaits are picking up a few trout.

Aztec Pond

This little pond in Riverside Park was stocked with 261 rainbow trout measuring 10.8 inches Dec. 3.

Farmington Lake

Still no word on stocking Farmington Lake, but I'm laying 2-1 odds Farmington and Jackson Lake are next on the list. Any takers?
