No mention of where the funding is coming from?
The DFG accepted a $10,000 donation from it's new "partner", the HSUS, for the department's K-9 teams. The Humane Society also donated $5,000 to the CalTIP program. What's next? Hunter Education money from the Brady bunch?:skeered:

It was interesting hearing the DFG guys try to explain this connection at our Hunter Education Instructor conference this year. Put this into context with the whole Rush Limbaugh/HSUS deal and one starts to smell a reptile.

I met Kera the other day, what a nice dog. I think this is a good idea and wish all of the wardens good luck with their new partners

These K-9's will be a welcome addition to the DFG. Hopefully they will "take a bite out of crime"!

Great
I'll get a tap on my shoulder and the warden will say, "We were a mile down the road and Rover here smelled 11 dove in your bag. License please."

Just kidding. Good luck to the new crew.
