Warthogs -- Several A-10 crews have spent quality time with me on several occasions. I watch them suit up, get briefings, check weapons and roar into the day and night. Yet have hardly written a word. (Mostly because despite having seen them in combat, and watching them roar over us and sometimes shoot cannons or rockets at the enemy, I know ever little about A-10s. (Great aircraft with enthusiastic pilots.) Am working on a dispatch. Meanwhile, took this photo recently:
