Most of my areas where I find sheds here in the Northeast revolve around winter cover. Every few years I've had a chance to hunt sheds where a farmer left beans or standing corn near winter cover and I've found that under those circumstances, finding some sheds quickly was pretty easy. Even a good hay field can be a gold mine if not covered too deeply with snow. What's everyone else's exxperience in this regard? I mean if you're any good at all at finding sheds, a good standing food source nearby to bedding cover seems to draw deer to the food during that critical period when they're vitality is kinda low (shedding time) and it's like a candy store for shed hunting.
