Forced flash or not

I was wondering how many use the forced flash  (lightning bolt showing) feature on their Owl PF's or do you just leave it for the camera to figure out?

I realize that the sensor is covered and it will flash no matter what but is it helpful to leave it on forced flash (lightning bolt showing)?

I am also decreasing the amount to tape used on the MS20 lens. I have been getting way to many rear end pictures of deer that almost passed by the camera before the Owl PF decided to take the picture. I figure that if I open the field of vision more, I may get some more head shots, but that is better than the butt pics.

I leave it on forced flash for fill.  I've had some pics not show because of shadows from trees, etc.

Forced flash, Yes. I think it makes the daytime pics much better.
