I am thinking of trying Fort Hunter Liggett for pigs.It will be my first pig hunt .Is it worth the trip? has anyone hunt it? Just looking for some info.THANKS

We just got back last night from FHL. One piece of advice is that if it rains, stay at camp. It gets pretty messy out there.

Yup!!!! The dirt roads quickly turn into greased goop in about the time that will take you to be half way driving out of the boonies if you stay too far away from the paved roads. I have been there when it started raining and instantly you are sliding sideways on the dirt roads in the mountains towards the edge down into the steep mountainsides. Scary. I just decided to back down the mountain and cut the trip short. 'Nuff said.
