2nd pig in two weeks :panic:

Needless to say I am dumbfounded and feeling seriously blessed. Story should be put out in the near future by Relentless365.....or so i'm told.

The gist of it, about 30 minutes on the ranch, on foot for less than 10 going to set up for a possible bow shot with rifle in tow just in case, rifle barks, pig down. And the most wildlife I ever seen in one place. One evening and one morning on the ranch.

A big BIG thanks to my boy CaptGray :toast-yellow:

Nice job! Every bear I've seen on the ranch has been a similar color, how far away were you when you took that picture?

We actually saw another big ol Black colored one and a huge bull elk the night before too :)

haha you are so right. And she has instructed me I cannot shoot anything till she gets a pig of her own now. She said she's "green with envy". Yes she really talks like that haha. Its her turn next.

It was about 40-45yds away. The black one the night before was about 60 yds in front of the truck. Just after sundown.

I did actually brotha and I got a 5 cu. ft. one and it is NOT enough space hahahaha. God help us if I shoot a deer and she gets a pig too :D

Was the elk bull you saw up there alone? I ran into a group of 10 big bulls in the tall grass close to my dad's place. They are part of the same herd that run Tejon. They know they are safe in bear valley and just hang out in the open. It took a min to see them. They just look like tree branches when you first look. Than as you get closer you can see them move or tell they are elk racks peaking out of the tall grass.

Congrats on your pig. Keep up the good work buddy. BBQ time for sure.

From what we could see he appeared to be alone yes. But my partner did see a big herd a couple hours earlier up the hill. they have no shortage of nice elk there. Awesome to see. Fawns too.
