05/09/2003
WGFD
CHEYENNE – The Game and Fish Department Regulation Governing Access to Records and Information will be discussed at a public meeting May 21, 7 p.m. at the Department of Transportation Auditorium in Cheyenne.
The meeting will explain the incorporation of existing G&F policy regarding records access and in-depth information requests into G&F regulations.
The change is a result of amendments to the Public Records Act requiring all state agencies to incorporate fees for information access into official regulation by July 1.
The G&F is also proposing to incorporate the Public Records Act definitions into its own regulations.
Written comments about the proposed regulation will be accepted through 5 p.m. May 23 by writing: Wyoming Game and Fish Department, 3030 Energy Lane, Casper, WY 82604. A copy of the proposed regulation is available by contacting the same address or calling (307) 473-3402.
The G&F supports the American with Disabilities Act. Anyone auxiliary aids to attend should call (307) 777-4501. Every effort will be made for reasonable accommodations.
