Digital orthophotos quadrangle for Oregon are available for free on the net at http://www.odf.state.or.us/gis/doq.html. They are in .sid format (MrSid). There is also a word file .sdw for each quadrangle. I tried  georeferencing those files in OziExplorer but the results is wrong. It looks like the .sdw files contain wrong informations...
Do anybody know how to correctly calibrate them?

Can you read them at all?  Sid images need MrSid image translator in the software to use them.

MrSid images already have a coordinate system associated with them.  There shouldn't be a need to register them.  You might need to change the projection or them, which I don't think you can do with out the MrSid software.

Yes, OziExplorer can import .sid images (the last developement release). But in order to georeferencing the image you need the world file .sdw. The problem is that the data in the .sdw file are meaningless... I know the datum and the projection from the same web page...
