You better hurry. Sadly prices are starting to go up slowly on stuff. I've sold nearly through my entire stock of lowers in a matter of 2 days. Thankfully my suppliers are able to still able to provide. Have already seen the BCGs price gouged because carriers are indefinitely back ordered through a lot of suppliers.

Seeing a lot of "out of stock" and "backordered" signs on a lot of gun and ammo sites again like last election. Buy it now or get on the backorder list, it's only going to get worse on pricing and availibilty. Last time it took what, a year, for the ammo hoarders to stop clearing the shelves?

Got mine today. A DPMS Panther LR .308 carbine. I put about 30 rounds through it today. It is a fine gun. It needs some trigger work though for long-range shooting. I'm going to drop another trigger in shortly.

I too have seen a load of out of stock on sites selling ammo, uppers and lowers.
5.56/223 ammo has gone up over 100% in price in the last 2 years.
I built a sweet tack driving AR this past year with Aero Precision upper and lower, and it came in under $700, today I don't think I could do it at that price. I still want to build another upper in 6.5 grendel...
Obama is the world's greatest arms sales stimulator, more DROS checks last year than at any other time in history. We went hunting in TX last Jan. and got asked by the local news to be interviewed in a gun shop and we declined but told them to speak to the shop owner. I tried to but some stripped lowers but they were out of stock of everything.

I'm looking for a drop-in trigger and a free-floating quad rail arm grip. I am finding that everything is sold out everywhere. I'm glad I got my gun when I did. I'm also facinated how customizable guns are that are built on the AR platform. I wish I would have discovered ARs earlier.

Got a Geissele SSA-E trigger on the way. Can't find a tactical bipod with a picatinny mount to save my life. I'll start hitting the local gun shops this week.

That's a nice trigger. I like the rra just a little bit more so I traded. What are you looking to spend on the bipod? I turned solid onto a very inexpensive one on eBay that works great. However, if your buying geissele triggers you probably want something better.

Right now I'll take any cheap adjustable bipod that will fit onto the bayonet lug or a bayonet lug to stud adapter. One day I'll try an expensive bipod but cheap ones do fine for me on my other rifles. Between a nice bipod and a nice trigger the trigger will probably do more for accuracy for me.

I'll also be upgrading my handguard from free-floating smooth to free-floating quadrail but that will be a future project. Right now everyone is sold out of carbine .308 hand guards and I just spent my money on the trigger anyhow.

I wouldn't go cheap on my AR, you made need that rifle and when you do you won't want stuff breaking or failing. If it's just a plinker or you have others for self defense no problem. Mako and Magpul had slick bipods coming out at the SHOT Show.
