I was at Home Depot last night and I realized that they do custom glass cutting. One of the guys said I was welcome to all of the scraps that I wanted.

I think it is 1/8 inch glass and I was able to break it into the right sized pieces. If you wanted to buy a glass cutter that would make it neat, but this wasn't bad at all.

Not sure if this has been shared before, but it seems most of you like the filters. I am trying to go cheap and this was the way!

Thats what I get from the local hardware store, the glass cutter was only 3 or 4 bucks.

Boy that sounds a little too scary for me. I hard a hard time just reaching down to the bottom of this metal trash can they had. Something about broken panes of glass and jagged edges just made me uncomfortable to be shoulder deep in that can!
