greetings from cedarcanyon ranch hope every body has enjoyed a chance to win a hunt. since we are a sponsor now i can tell you about our operation . first our european boar are imported from canada and raised on large parcels of land and mainly live off the land with weekly to biweekly supplemental feedings of barley etc. alot of the european boar raised this way end up going to fancy resturants and are exported all over the world. yes when we get them shipped to us they must be ear tagged and are tested for diseases etc. the property is large and rugged enough that the boar breed on the property. we have boar on the ranch that have been out there three to five years with the untagged born on the ranch boar only being able to be aged by their teeth. our success rates can vary some what do to when we have restocked the ranch . size of boar currently on ranch will be from 20lb piglets to pigs pushing 300 lbs plus. We deffinatly do not have a 100% success rate. the base elevation is 3,800 ft going up to 5,200 ft with a 1400ft elevation gain some local ski resorts dont have as much elevation change as we have we get snowfalls exceding 18'' three plus times a winter i love to hunt in the snow. It is only do to the fact that we buy the majority of our eroupeanboar and it is fenced that we are able to hunt without tags or licenses because they are deemed live stock wich lets us supplement feed them this helps us to give you a veary good quality of wild boar . hopefully over the next couple of weeks we can get some good video to share with you. the two things we can guarantee at cedarcanyon ranch #1 a good time and #2 you will see pigs the rest is up to you good luck and shoot straight

thanks. just checked out the website. great job in the information.

my brother and i have unburned new mexico elk tag money, and maybe...just maybe. nice option for him living in texas, not to have to buy a cali tag. helps us hunt together.

if i win, i will buy him another "visitor's pass". thanks for the contest!
