Went up on friday to do some scouting and hunted on Saturday, We started up on Badger flats and seen some deer sign but nothing we could tell being that fresh due to it being dry up there. then spent the rest of the day on tamarack ridge. Just wondering am I in a good spot for the early season because we hardly seen anything. we hiked in about 2 miles up in badger flats and seen 3 does and decided to try another plan. I was thinking next weekend get there early before light and sit up on a high vantage point around some of the more used trails.. any help or insight would be great, This is only my second year hunting up there I used to hunt northern d8 with no sucess.
