It's "Waterfowl Wednesday," and this week we check in on the migration and current hunting conditions at the Gray Lodge Wildlife Area in Butte County. A wet December has allowed Gray Lodge to flood an additional 630 acres of habitat and increase its hunter quota from 195 to 240 hunters each shoot day.

this whole flood up regarding "recent rains" is absolute bullshit.
It has zero to do with the birds and everything to do with $$.
Expect less birds annually as local water districts sell water for hydro and not to flood wetlands.
Sorry to be a buzzkill, but at my age I easily recognize bs when I read it.
