Grey Market

I found a good price on a Leica 800 but it is grey market, so if it had a warranty problem it is a little tough.  I know that it will probably never have an issue, but my luck is worse than anybody I know.  Thinking about spending the extra through Cabelas because they are so great to work with on returns.  What does everybody think?

I've done the same thing more than once. Buying from Cabela's is like getting a second warranty.

It's worth the peace of mind.

Grey Market Leica's have NO warranty in the states. This is per the Leica folks in NJ. Go w/ Cabella's or some other reputable dealer
