Thanks to Gun docc for taking the time to share his creativity.  In the short time that I've been visiting this site my only complaint is that the good ideas are coming too fast...

Gun Docc you da man! Thats the best i've seen. Sooooo real looking just like bark. A cam tree finish.Will try this,a nice winter project. 30+ inches of snow now, temps below zero sometimes,cameras all in time to seal the flash windows and try a little Gun Docc camo job. Always new good info on this site being shared.

The only thing I don't understand.......do you drink the white lightening before or after you apply the camo HeHeHe Latex caulk who would have thought?

the process is really easy to do and looks pretty good.

just figured i'd give something back to the cause....hehehe

might never have built a cam unit without all the knowledge from a lot of folks on here.

want to especially thank spectr17 for getting this published so's all ya'll could use it.

Great concept Gun Docc! Do you like it better than the ones you glued actual tree bark to?

to answer your question , Yeah it is a whole lot easier than glueing the real bark on as it is a whole lot less tedious.

i like this a lot better as it is waterproof and does not soak up water like the real tree bark pieces does.

i still have several units with the real bark pieces glued on them but may soon replace it with the latex caulk method.
