I got three seperate emails with these pics in it over the last 15 months.............
Not sure the truth behind any of them but, it is one sweet museum collection for sure.

It actually looks a lot like the gun rooms in some of the prop houses I used to go into.

This is the basement of Bruce Stern from Connecticut. I did a google search for "gun room under 1860's manor house" and all of the needed information came up. Links to other discussion boards about his life and collection along with his ties to the NRA. No truth to anything about Charlton Heston. Doesn't take much to verify these things, with the internet like it is. I think I read that the entire collection sold for almost $12,000,000. More than $4,000,000 more than the low estimate for the collection. One impressive collection, that's for sure.
