Man, that sounds like a hell of a hunt fellas, congrats on the hogs. That skinned out photo of the fatty is unreal with the amount of fat, never seen that before. I agree with ya, I'd prefer spot and stalk but I am not turning down chasing a pig either way. I have only done it once over dogs and it was a rush, not somehthing I'd go after given an other good choice but I'd never turn it down either. It's all fun, nice work

THose that have never hunted with dogs will never understand, it ain't for everyone, but something everyone should do before casting opinions.

Great hunt guys, that pig is a lardo, I bet you can make sausage out of five other skinny hogs with that one hog's fat.

Bowhunting with dogs is a whole other situation, I have seen one hog do some decent damage to the dog's owner when it got full penetration but stayed in the hog, good on ya for waiting for the right shot.

Yep, that was my worst fear. I really didn't want the arrow sticking out the other end of the hog and cutting up the dogs as she danced around. Fortunately this was a pretty ideal situation. Once I saw the arrow bury into the river bank I knew the dogs were safe. The broadhead was still sharp even after I yanked it out of the dirt so it would have definitely done some damage.
