Well it's been a little slow on the forum,so I thought I'd post a couple pics of HeavyHorns and I's annual Ham Slam in August. We got into a group right before dark the first night. We made a long stalk in "No cover" to get close enough for HeavyHorns to get a shot at them with his bow.He made a great shot at 35yds,I saw the arrow make a complete pass thru and all hell broke loose. They ran up the hill right to our buddies that were watching the whole stalk go down via bino's.They put the hammer down on three more with the lead flinggers. We had a great time as always, and I'd like to congradulate HH for taking his first bowkill,a nice sow.:hog chewing::archer green:.Can't wait to get back up there ASAP...

Thanks Duknutz! Always a great time up there with you. Here is a pic of my first bow kill. Sorry about all the blood on the hog. She was on the bottom of the pile in Duknutz picture.

Yeah...We used to have to hoist them up on the back rack on the jeep, now we just drop the rack and lift them up a little.Once you get above Quad height they are a real booger any higher!
Our buddies lease this ranch,it's west of Red Bluff in Nor. Cal.about 3 1/2 hrs. from Sacto.
Here's HeavyHorns big one from last year...This is why the rack was built.

Yep...it took three of us to get this big boy on the back rack. In fact, one guy hurt his shoulder helping out. He was right around the 320lbs mark....looked like a 50 gallon drum.
