I finally figured out how to post pics so here's one of my hog that I got in Jan with my .357max T/C Contender. 180 grain Hornady sspb @ 50 yards. Mike

Sorry for the late response. I took it on my friends private ranch in the Salinas Valley. I could've taken a 300+ lb hog but opted for this 150 lb hog instead. It was a good choice as the meat was eaten up within about a month! Mike

Nice hog.... How much penatration do you get with the .357? and did he fall over with one shot?

It was a pass thru shot and I couldn't find the bullet. The bullet did mushroom though as the wound channel was large. Hog went about 30 yards and piled up. Mike

I have gotten one with the 357 mag. in a Taurus model 66. Same thing, a pass thru and he only went 30 yards.
