HANNIBAL, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) Tree Resource Improvement and Maintenance (TRIM) grant workshop scheduled for Feb. 26 in Hannibal was canceled due to inclement weather and has been rescheduled for 10 a.m. on March 12 at the USDA/MDC office, 653 Clinic Road. There is no cost for the program, but pre-registration is required.
TRIM cost-share grants can help communities fund tree inventories, removal or pruning of hazardous trees, tree planting and the training of volunteers and city/county employees to best care for community forests.
