Gonna load the dogs and head out to IVR in the morning to have a look around. I haven't been there since the fire but used to bear hunt it some several years ago and most of the time we saw hog tracks. Now I'm going just for them. We'll see what we find. Mike

I'm kind of surprised you go all the way to IVR for pigs from West Point when you have good pig populations real close to you in the Sierras. Good luck.

Well, I made it back but without any pigs. LOL.
We did see a few tracks but they were a couple days old so I didn't put the dogs down on em. We hunted from the bottom to the upper end of the lake and all the tracks were way down on the lower end. We did see a few bear tracks that were runable but we had to pass on them. Mike

Hey Jerry, I'm new to the pig game and don't know any places for them. I've always hunted bear and usually above the pigs and IVR is the only place I've seen tracks.
If you know some places to try that are closer to home, let's go give er a try. Mike
