Hedgapeth Ranch

I will be hunting the Golden Ram Hedgapeth Ranch the last weekend in Feb. Anybody hunted there who'd be willing to steer me toward some possible locations? I'll get there on Thursday afternoon and have until Sunday to find a pig. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

I was a member of Golden Ram about 5 years ago. Only hunted Hedgepeth once. It was opening of A zone archery deer season. Lots of pigs there if you are willing to put in the legwork. A good place to start would be the ridge closest to the border of the hillside ranch. We got into pigs there. However it is very steep. This isnt a secret spot. One of my buddies has taken several hogs on that ranch.

I have never hunted the ranch this time of year, but the ridge Moparcwby77 suggested would always be a good place to start. After the first mornings hunt take a couple of hours to drive the dirt roads and look for fresh tracks. I can not think of any place on the ranch I have not seen pigs at one time or another. This is a Golden Ram property. It is located west of Santa Rosa. You have to be a member of the club to use the ranch. I am not a member but I lease a duck blind from the owner and due to some negotiations, I have a one time only hunt opportunity for this ranch. The club has a website if you are interested in joining. Seems like they have a lot of hunting, fishing, and camping properties scattered around northern CA.
