I'm updating my California Elk Hunting webpage and would like to add some more info that would help first timers out.
What I need is info on:
HUNTING SUPPLIES - local sporting good shops or stores that have hunting and food supplies.
BEST EATS - good cafes or restaurants
CHEAPEST GAS - to avoid the high prices us foreigners pay because we don't know the area
GOOD MOTELS/HOTELS/CAMPGROUNDS - clean and convenient places to stay
GUIDES - Any guides that operate in the zone.
MUST SEE SIGHTS - any places to visit if we tag out early or don't want to miss.
MEAT PROCESSING/BUTCHERS -
TAXIDERMISTS -
MEDICAL AID - Nearest hopstial or emergency clinics.
GENERAL INFO - Land conservancies or timber companies that grant trespass permission. Any other info that would be helpful.
Take a look at the my Cal Elk hunting page and the zones you know. If you can help out with any of the above please post here. Try to include the address, the phone number and the times the store is open if possible. Contact/Onwer names also help. Thanks a bunch.
