Well believe it or not I can't seem to locate the links here to the Hunter Liggett info page here. I tried the link on the helpful hog hunting pinned thread, this link......http://www.jesseshunting.com/calhog.html..........and all I get is a blank page. I tried the Army's website for FHL and got a blank page too. I am looking to print out the application and get the phone #. Can anyone help direct me??

Thanks alot in advance,

Thanks ksberry-

It works now. For some reason my computer won't download the application. Something comes up that says the file might be infected and I can't load it. I will try on another computer later today. Ksberry.....are you going to the FHL hunt next month??

Unfortunanly not...my new work schedule has me working weekends now and it sucks. I love FHL as it is one of the few public areas that I know holds hogs but it is only open on the weekends. Last year I was there half a doze times and saw a lot of sign and a few hanging in the freezer but never saw the animals in the field. Your best bet if you ask me are TA's 29 and 30 which are shotgun and archery. Since I don't have a riffled barrel for my shot gun I have stuck to the other TA's that allow rifle. I like the back side of TA 25 and have seen pigs in TA 10 when I was driving into the fort on Jolen Rd but that TA has been closed every time I have hunted there.

I think I mentioned this before but try and get there Friday afternoon to check in or else you will be waiting in line on Sat morning and will miss the morning hunt. Get out in the field as early as you can because the pigs do hide as soon as the sun comes up. Good luck out there. Make sure you bring al your supplies if you are camping there. No stores in the fort to buy anything. If you forget something you have to head back out to King City.
