New Castle 100 Archers Club was established as a Delaware corporation in 1953, and in March 1957 purchased their present 13 acre location. In 1973 the present Delaware archery range clubhouse was built replacing one that was destroyed in a fire. Later a ten foot addition was added to provide bathroom space and giving us the 20 x 50 ft. present clubhouse. In the clubhouse is a complete kitchen area, as well as clean restrooms for both men and women. Looking out from the clubhouse there is a mowed practice range providing practice targets out to a distance of 80 yards.
A 30 target field course wraps around the New Castle 100 Archers property winding through our rolling woodlot on a walking path, and testing your skills with accessible marked yardage targets with shooting distances from 10 to 80 yards. For the bowhunter we have three large elevated platforms to assist them in fine-tuning their skills.
All this has been made possible through the hard work and dedication of our members.
