Here's a hog for you!

Okay - it's a wart hog. But I'm still proud of it! It will look good on the wall next to my California hog.

That's the ugliest most beautiful warthog I've ever seen. He's a toad!!! Congrats. Who did you hunt with?

Believe it or not, that's one of the few animals I'd would actually really like to take in Africa. Don't ask me why.

Boy that is one ugly animal, the hog looks nasty too. Just kidding!!! I have always been amazed at the tusks on those hogs. How do they cook up?

You know, that is one animal we did not get to try eating. I have heard it is very good, though. We were the first group hunting this year, and we kind of held off on the wart hogs until later in the hunt. I guess we were all focused on the antelope. Once we started on the hogs, though, most guys shot at least a couple! I am pretty sure mine was the biggest.

We hunted Jim Hackiewicz, who posts here as JJ hack. Jim is also a devoted hog hunter and says that wart hogs are his favorite African game animal. They are funny toi watch - they run with their tails straight up in the air like antennaes! I saw one even headbutt a cape buffale over some food.

Most of the animals shared the waterholes fine, until the buffalo or rhino showed up.
