I was remembering last year that during the Ham Slam, we found out that the pigs had gone nocturnal during our pre-hunt meeting. I wondered if you had the inside scoop on what we could expect next week?

I'm about 40 minutes from Tejon, and I'd say with the heat we're having, water will be the key to finding hogs, and first and last light will be the most productive.

Hopefully I'll be at Tejon on Saturday vaporizing squirrels. You can bet my eyes will be

Just touched base with Barbara, and it looks like the South Side did VERY well in the POR this past weekend. Lots of hogs seen, and a pretty high kill rate. It's looking real promising... but you're right.

It will be hot, and getting dry.

During this time of the season at the Tejon you definitly want to be in your fav huntin' hole far before light and close to dark. If nothing in the morning or evening, I like to look for deep deeeep canyons, hike down into them and sit for most of the afternoon. I've spotted many pigs moving through these deep cool canyons during mid day. I may be going this weekend, if so, I'll post what I see when I return. Grtwythunter, what will you be driving in case I see ya I'll say hello. Will you be there Sat. only? I'll be in a Red Ranger.
