no. It's fine for depredation hunts when the are trying to control the hog population but I wouldn't do it as a "hunter". This type of thing takes away the personal and ethical parts of hunting...in my opinion.

I think it will chase a lot of hogs over to Public Land where they are protected. They are smart animals!

I really like the part of the report where it says hogs have been recently reported as far west as california. Hogs in cali? Wouldnt that be fun????? Stupid news people........

There's a huge difference in the way we hunt hogs in most of California and the problems they have with pigs in Texas. In Cali they're a game animal...in Texas they're a nuisance species. I wouldn't call that "hunting" in the pure sense of the word but I am all in favor of making a few dollars by providing people the opportunity to go out a participate in the "hog control" efforts. It's just one more tool in the fight against the damage by the pigs.
