I'm going on the hog hunt I posted about last week on Saturday. The guide at the lodge took us to where all the stands are. The hogs are tearing up the plots and the corn under the feeders. There hitting it hard right now. I'm so ready to go. They told me to use corn soaked in grape cool-aid. Has anyone heard of this? It must work pretty good from what I've seen on their property. The reason I'm asking is because me and some guys that have hog dogs are going on our property when i return from my hunt. I want to bait an area, so that when we do go hunt they'll be in the area. I know hogs roam for miles sometimes, so I want something out to hold them until the hunt. I could just put straight corn out but I want them to come for it in the next couple of days. I want something out that will be real stronge smelling so they'll come take to quicker.
