Hog calls

I have read some of the post about Javelina calls but, I haven’t been able to find much info on hog calls. I imagine they would work in much the same way. Keep them from running off if you spooked them. Has anyone had any luck calling hogs in or locating them? The season is closing soon here and I would like some pork to put in the freezer with the venison.
